  • 产品描述:

CUSABIO's mouse Tnfrsf5 ELISA kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of mouse Tnfrsf5 in serum, plasma, or tissue homogenates. This assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique in combination with the enzyme-substrate chromogenic reaction to quantify the analyte in the sample. The color develops positively to the amount of Tnfrsf5 in samples. The color intensity is measured at 450 nm via a microplate reader.

Tnfrsf5, also called CD40, is a type I transmembrane protein, belonging to the TNF receptor superfamily. The CD40-CD40L interaction activates NF-κB, JNK, and JAK/STAT pathways and promotes B cell growth, differentiation, and survival as well as IL-12 production in macrophages and the overall activation state of dendritic cells. CD40 ligation to CD40L also participates in germinal center formation, immunoglobulin switching, somatic hypermutations, and the development of thymocytes and differentiation of naïve CD4+ T cells. The CD40-CD40L signaling is involved in multiple diseases, including atherosclerosis, Hodgkin's disease, and Alzheimer's disease.
