IHC image of CSB-MA153712 diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human testis tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-mouse IgG polymer labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.

The synthesized peptide derived from human CD99 protein is used to immunize mice to obtain the mouse B cells. Mouse B cells are fused with myeloma cells to produce hybridomas, from which the CD99 antibody-secreting hybridomas are selected and cultured in the mouse abdominal cavity. The CD99 monoclonal antibody is purified from mouse ascites by affinity chromatography using a specific immunogen. It is suitable for recognizing human CD99 protein in ELISA and IHC applications.
CD99 protein, also known as MIC2 or E2 antigen, is involved in various cellular processes such as adhesion, apoptosis, differentiation, and migration. In lymphocytes, CD99 plays a critical role in T cell development and maturation, as well as in T cell activation and signaling. It has also been shown to regulate the adhesion and migration of lymphocytes and monocytes. In addition, CD99 has been implicated in the regulation of apoptosis and has been suggested to play a role in the pathogenesis of certain cancers, including Ewing's sarcoma and leukemia.
