CUSABIO uses a partial recombinant protein corresponding to the 20-108 amino acids of the human CRHR2 protein to immunize the rabbit to produce the anti-CRHR2 polyclonal antibody. This CRHR2 antibody exists as the unconjugated IgG isoform. The purity of this antibody is 95%+ using protein G affinity chromatography. This CRHR2 antibody shows reactivity in human, rat, and mouse samples. And it has been validated for use in ELISA, WB, IHC, and IF applications.
The CRHR2 mainly regulates stress response and anxiety by modulating the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, which is a major hormonal system that regulates stress response in the body. Activation of CRHR2 by corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) leads to the release of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) from the pituitary gland, which in turn stimulates the release of cortisol from the adrenal glands. This results in the body's stress response, including increased heart rate, blood pressure, and energy mobilization, among other effects.
