Trhr

Thyrotropin-releasing hormone receptor is a protein in humans that is encoded by TRHR gene. The thyrotropin-releasing hormone receptor (TRHR) is a G protein-coupled receptor which binds the tripeptide thyrotropin releasing hormone. The TRHR are found in the brain and when bound by TRH act (through phospholipase C) to increase intracellular inositol trisphosphate.
