产品描述:
This mouse IL15 ELISA kit employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique to measure the levels of mouse IL15 in multiple samples, including serum, plasma, or tissue homogenates. The enzyme-substrate chromogenic reaction is also used to amplify the signal and quantify the levels of the analyte through the intensity of the colored product. The color intensity positively correlates with the amount of IL15 bound in the initial step.
IL15 is a pleiotropic pro-inflammatory cytokine that promotes the development and homeostasis of a group of lymphocytes. IL15 binds to its receptor complex, initiating a signaling cascade that enhances immune responses in natural killer cells and subsets of T cells and inducing the production of a plethora of proto-oncogenes. It plays a major role in the development of inflammatory and protective immune responses to microbial invaders and parasites by regulating immune cells of both the innate and adaptive immune systems. Upregulation of IL15 has been frequently detected during immune stimulation, pathogen infections, and numerous other inflammatory situations.

I am having a question concerning your murine IL-15 ELISA kit. I would like
to know, if this kit detects both single-peptide IL-15 and IL-15/Ra complex, or only
either of the forms? I would highly appreciate if you could clear this question for me.
since I would need a kit that detects the both forms.
Our kit CSB-E04604m detects total mouse IL-15, including another form or the receptor binding IL-15 form.

功能:Cytokine that stimulates the proliferation of T-lymphocytes. Stimulation by IL-15 requires interaction of IL-15 with components of IL-2R, including IL-2R beta and probably IL-2R gamma but not IL-2R alpha. In neutrophils, stimulates phagocytosis probably by signaling through the IL15 receptor, composed of the subunits IL15RA, IL2RB and IL2RG, which results in kinase SYK activation.
