产品描述:
This human IL15 ELISA kit employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique to measure the levels of human IL15 in multiple samples, including serum, plasma, or tissue homogenates. It also uses the enzyme-substrate chromogenic reaction to visualize and analyze the analyte levels through the color intensity. The intensity of the colored product is in direct proportion to the IL15 levels in the sample and is measured at 450 nm through a microplate reader.
IL15 is a pleiotropic cytokine that is mainly produced by macrophages, monocytes and DCs and plays an important role in innate and adaptive immunity. It is especially involved in lymphocyte and NK cell functioning and homeostasis. IL15 signals through a receptor complex composed of the IL2/IL15 receptor β (CD122) and the common γc receptor subunit (CD132). IL15 is highly expressed in skeletal muscle and has also been identified as an anabolic factor. It participates in muxles-adipose tissue interaction. IL15 also exhibits pro-inflammatory potential and is involved in the pathogenesis of several autoimmune diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and multiple sclerosis (MS).

功能:Cytokine that stimulates the proliferation of T-lymphocytes. Stimulation by IL15 requires interaction of IL15 with components of the IL2 receptor, including IL2RB and probably IL2RG but not IL2RA. In neutrophils, stimulates phagocytosis probably by signaling through the IL15 receptor, composed of the subunits IL15RA, IL2RB and IL2RG, which results in kinase SYK activation.
